Hi sir/mam, this is my first post here, pls help me..
I am planning to make an earthworm bin for my fish, maybe not just for a treat but part of the diet.. I am trying to be cheap as possible and I'm getting a hard time finding any peat moss, coconut coir, or any other decent bedding I find in the net(internet buying is not an option for me).. So I guess I'm stuck at newspaper and soil but I'm not giving up of searching the most appropriate bedding.. My question is, is it safe to use the newspaper bedding?? I know the newspaper will also be eaten by the worms along the inks with it! Is it safe for the fish to eat worms that consume newspaper-with-inks?? Please help me sirs/mams! I will be feeding the worms with veggie scraps and fruits.. Thanks in advance..

no problem, I have been using newspaper for years. They also like potato skins, carrots (any root vegetable really), egg shells, tea bags. Avoid citrus fruits, though. Too acidic
