newt help please.

Im thinking about getting a newt in my tank. Its is a 20 gallon tank and i already have a few tetras and was wondering if i could put a newt in it or if i need to get rid of the fish?? If i can put a newt what kind would you recamend?

I would recommend orange spotted newt but the thing is that it's better to make it a land newt with water instead of a fully underwater newt. When i bought my newt it had gills but after being out of water the gills receded and now has a side for water and a side for land. So he can choose gills or air when he wants.

Newts like cold water mostly, but I find Paddletails work best.
