So I think the wolf fish is super cool, however they are illegal where I live. What's the next best thing that resembles the wolf fish in as many ways possible.

I am pretty sure I read a post by Oddball about that, but I cannot find it to save my life!
From memory, they only listed the Mala, but that could have been somewhere else than Florida...

Im pretty sure bowfin would be legal, its a US native that's as close to a snakehead or wolf.. and i have no idea on the laws of catching a snakehead and putting it in a tank.

Ur right brasi got banned too. Missed that. Bowfin are ok even then strictly regulated by states. Can't take a snakehead home and put it in ur tank. Has to be killed if caught.
