Next fish on my hit list !

Hi guys

Thought i'd share these pic's with you Silver Prochilodus, This is the next fish i'm chasing i would like to get him in my tank as soon as cash allows me too.

What do you guys think of this fish speices ?

cool fish. how big do they get? im guessing that they are in the same family as the tinfoil.

Slow growing. but cool when big. They jump a lot and stress out very easily.

Falls in the group of Characins, A tinfoil barb falls in the group of Cyprinidae.

Also they will grow to around 12" they are herbivore, Also i hear sexing them is impossable as is breeding i'm not 100% on that if anyone can confirm!

Good price on a flagtail, need large tanks, they will calm down mostly, been awhile but they didn't seem any worse than balas as far as skttishness goes.

Not a bad price that mate it's a similar price as Bala's and appollo sharks

they aren't really easy to take care of I had two of them and I found them dried up on back of my tank.

forgot to mention they are prone to fungal infections too.
