How does this sound?

1 orino, 2 kelberi, 1 tem, 1 wild ocell, and either an azul or pinima.

What is the average cost of a 2-3 inch pinima?

Sounds good but will need seperate tanks. The growth rate on piquiti/Temensis/Pinima is much faster than Orino/Kelberi. Ocell is in the middle range.

2-3" pinima? Seen them anywhere from $45 to $150

Best bet would be to get Kelberi noticeably bigger than the rest so it can compete. By nature, they're pretty passive as far as cichla go. They won't be able to compete with similar sized brutes like Orinos, Pinima, and Piquiti.

theyre just different species LOL. different sizes, different colors, different markings, different behaviours, aggression, etc.

like an apple and an orange. theyre both fruit but...
