2. how is the service
3. what kind of nextel phone?

Got it, had it for about 2 years. Service ion my area is improving, wasn;t the best. I have the i830

im useing the i870 i got 2 for me and my girl.. .she loves it

I'm with Sprint, who bought Nextel, and are integrating.

Yes they do, and my Sanyo MM-7400 has it.

I had Nextel it was too expensive and the service wasn't great. But that was before the merge so it may have improved. I have Verizon and I have no problems with it, they have Push 2 Talk now. So I don't think there is much of an advantage with nextel except for the fact that alot of people in construction and what not use direct connect. But I think that will all change if the prices don't.
