Nexus filtration system…

Anyone use these instead of ultimas to filter large tank systems and if so what is your experience with the these?

A friend into looking says these are better than ultimas.

Any thoughts or experience?

I have one on my pond and it works great. I thought about building one for tank use but I don't have a large tank that would need all this filtering. Keep in mind that the Nexus is a gravity system and huge. Very easy to clean. Dirt and crap is visible allowing you to determine when to flush out. No clog system allows you to go on vacation without worrying to clean.
