NGT and light.

Has anyone else noticed there that NGT has really nice colors under bright light but not in low/dim light??

I do but only when it wants food. After it eats it will hide under the driftwood.

My NGT goes dim and black with lights off, stable with lights on.

Then again, he can do the exact opposite I noticed recently.

Hi i kept mine under a 4 foot ordinary tropical light tube (over a 6 foot tank) so it was fairly bright and his patterns always looked good,after lights out he faded to a darker black colour,i think that's camouflage though
