All of you guys that have kept multiple NGT in the same tank, at what size did you notice the conspecific aggression start, and did it make any difference if you had lots of other dats in there with them?

I'm guessing that not to many people have multiple NGT's in the same tank so I guess I'll be the on that tries it out. Currently I have 4 NGT's in the same tank, it's 48" long and the NGT seem to be paired up, a pair in each corner of the tank. I have had them in the tank now for a little over a week. Will keep you guys posted on how it goes.
I've had two 3" ngts grow out in a 30g and fought all the time. 5 together about 6" in a 55g planted and always fought. And 5 9-12" in a 180g with 30 other dats and still fought with each other. When multiple ngt are housed its not too bad cause the aggression is split amongst them but they will still fight. 2-3 Ngt might get ugly and if not monitored will show death. Keep an eye on them and think positively. Every datnoid is different and it might work out for you. Just be prepared.
