NGT on massivore - how many?

Howdy,

My 9'' NGT devours Hikari massivore. I used to feed him goldfish, then for the past half year stuffed shrimp, and he now switched to massivore in a heartbeat.

Here my question: Each pellet equals 2 goldfish. He can't get enough, but I do not want him to overfeed. That's a lot of calories! I started feeding him 5-10 pellets every day, but he still swims around, asking for more. Sure, the shrimp filled his stomach more than a few pellets. How many is safe/healthy to feed? Is 5-10 pellets a safe amount? More? Less?

not sure about pellets but my 6"-7" NGT can eat 1 to 2 whitebait and half a dozen prawns and still want more !!! i would say feed these pellets a couple of times a week and feed other food the rest of the time,mine only gets fed every other day and he is quite thick now

i have smaller dats eating that many long term u should be ok

I feed them until they stop. Dats dont overeat and they will grow a lot faster. If your worried, throw a heater and raise temp to speed up their metabolism.

tell my dats not to over eat lol they will stuffs themselves to the point shrimp is hanging out of there mouth...... harley i would feed the 10-15 in am and same amount at night.... rays are alot different but my male motoro could eat 60+ massivore a day
