the right pectoral fin seems to be birth defect or some sort..but the left pectoral looks normal...the right side looks 60% smaller...will its lifespan be shortened by this deformity? Or is it a illness? anyone with similar case?

Its lifespan shouldn't be affected. It's only a minor imperfection.:)

but u told me your bichir had a similar problem and it died lol how long did that fella live?

I never said it died due to the birth defect it suffered. It died of another cause, not the birth defect itself.;)

Shouldnt be a problem. I've seen guys on here raise RTC's with only one pectoral fin. Is it cut at all or broken off? If it is theres a 50/50 chance it will heal back. Other than that it wont affect the NGT at all. Got pics?

hey j thx, will try get some pics later. but im not sure if its cut off or broken off...i just noticed it when it started to swim up to me.
