I decided to take my NGT, 3 small PBass and 3 Royal plecos to Gerbers today since I couldnt find them a home. I traded them for 6 large redhooks and catfish. I get back home about an hour later and one of the store employees called me. He said some guy that has been walking around the store for a while snatched the NGT and the bigger Royal and made off with them while they were being acclimated. Im hoping the idiot posts it on here for sale. Not sure what they are going to do about it or if they have it on camera. This is the first time they seen the guy. Also a few months ago a buddy of mine that owns Aquatics and Exotics had a small MBU stolen from him right out of the tank.

People are sick LOL

Two years ago here I was in a Asian owned LFS that sells all types of Asian aros and some dude took off with a $2000 super red. The camera could not really make out his face but it showed him scrambling around the floor trying to pick it up after he dropped it LOL

So they just grab and run out with it?? How far can they actually get with a live fish struggling it their arms anyway.
He said that the NGT was still acclimating when it was stolen so it must have been in the plastic bag. There was thread a short while ago about pet shop pilferage. One account had a guy walking around the store with a large soft drink cup and he pulled out his net and snatched up what he was after.

wasnt even in a bag, just in a small tub with a few other plecos. Im surprised he wasnt caught in the act.

Scammers in every hobby. I am very weird about letting folks in selling fish ish on craigslist.

Sorry to hear about that, but I don't think the guy is going to sell it, he's probably gonna keep it. I mean, what person would steal a fish and try posting it for sale. Thats just asking for it, to get caught. Has to be a fish lover to do something like that IMO, but then again I could be wrong, maybe there are stupid people like that, steal and sell.

Shameful. Here we are(the dat crowd)looking high and low for NGT and this crook just walks in and steals one.
