I've got a healthy 5.5" Ngt that I am looking to trade for a couple of small widebars.

Anyone interested?

Don't think you are going to get "a couple" but good luck! I've got 2 ngt and i'd be happy to get an even trade on 1 widebar! btw any1 want to trade a ngt for a widebar?

You're kidding, right? A small 3" widebar will be around $75 through a community sponsor, while a 5.5" NGT will be $150 minimum from a community sponsor, if you can find one. Seems like a fair trade to me. :)

it seems that the price of NGT's have fallen dramatically just as the widebars did.

although at the same size, a NGT would be slightly more expensive, maybe $20-$30 difference.

I just got 2 ngt from shark aquarium for $75 each. They were about 4-5". I just thought you'd have a harder time asking for widebars!? He had ones that were like 6-7" for $150. I didn't think you could get a 6" widebar for $150. If you can I'll take 5 of them!

I had a bunch of wide bars here, they came in terrible condition, unsellable. I am in no rush to bring in any wide bars at this time. The "desperate wholesalers" are driving the prices down on them, So I will bide my time. Befor selling fish, I was a strong customer of George, spent plenty of $ at his old place

Just as a reference, I sold 4.5" NGT 's for $100 & 7.5" NGT's for $200 last week
Damn, Alex! I would have bought those, but I bet Ivan beat me to it. Again! :(
