nicaraguan cichlid?

i saw one at my lfs, 3-4 inches, for 4.99...can anyone tell me a little bit about these guys? maybe post some pics? i like the diamond pattern on his side, and was thinking about getting one in the future..

they're peaceful and the males get around 8-9".

Definitely not...... They would do fine in the right sized tank.

x2. my 4'' male devastated one of my juvi oscars of the same size. had to split them up, nic did some nasty fin damage.

males have a solid gold coloration and females have a solid gold coloration with hues of blue and red on top. both are beautiful fish.

they should be more aggressive than the typical oscar, but should normally make good tankmates

so they would do well with my flowerhorn and texas then? my flowerhorn only has one tooth, so even though he tries to be bad, it just doenst work..lol
