is it possible for a nicaraguan cichlid and an HRP to breed? the nicaraguan is a female and all she has been doing for the past day is clear a spot out in her cave. she only lets my one male HRP come into the cave. she has cleared it to the glass and is wiggling back and forth to get all the rocks out of the way that she missed when digging.
on a side note my port cichlids have wigglers again after another successful go at it. hopefully the fry make it this time. this time i put a divider so the other fish cant go after any of the fry and it seems to have calmed down my tank because my ports get quite aggressive when breeding and protecting.
