I was just wondering if anyone has ever had a nicaraguense and if so where would be the best place to get one that doesn;t charge an arm and a leg. I am looking for a 2 inch female that I can control the colors on.

How do you "control the colors"?

by feeding the fish the right kind of foods at a juvenile state you can control how bright they get. it is basically an issue of proper diet and water level controls.

thats what you should do to all your fish.

from my exp, avoid having aggressive fish in the tank as they may attack your fish, just like how my red devil kill my Nicaraguense
