I have two Nicaraguensis Cichlids in my tank, only about 5-7 cm both of them and it is a 130 litre tank (tropiquarium 88).
They are far too young to breed and i find it boring just watching two small fish swimming about in a tank too big for their size.
So im asking (since im going to my local fish shop soon) what other fish could i put in with these just now?
And when the Nicaraguensis get too big il put them in another tank dont worry.
Thankyou,
Jason:D

C'mon someone must have some advice, im going to the shop tomorow so i need to know guys, please some advice or help?
:)

My male is in with oscars, JD, pacu, severums, leporinus and others that have come and gone. Not extremely aggressive but will not be bullied.

severums should work or Uaru there both semi peaceful but can stand up for themselves if need be

its only 130 litres but guys, google search a tropiquarium 88 ;)
I might go with a firemouth then and something else, thanks for the help and advice so far guys!

firemouths and rainbow cichlids are probably the ideal CA cichlid tankmates for it, but some of the mid size SA like severums and chocolates should be good too.

thats a small tank converted it over i think the Nics will outgrow it let alone adding anything else
