i cant believe someone voted ugly cause all jaguar cichlids are awesome but i found it weird how you had voting go for pretty and ugly.. pretty ugly lol =) but yea it should grow to be a monster good luck!!

The only reason I voted ugly was because the original poster voted pretty on his own poll. I thought I would cancel it out and make the poll start fresh.

I'm no expert, but I'd say girl because of the lack of color pattern on fins and more pronounced black spots along lateral line.

Hi

1. I think it is too small to confirm it's sex. By the current indicators (spots/patterns below the lateral line), I am putting this as a male.

2. He is washed out as he is not yet settled in to his enviornment.
