Wow thanks for sharing this, what size tank do you have these lighting? My only concern is for the price they are not a bright LED's but it may not be an issue... also how long is the ballast with the legs all the way tucked in? I have a 75 gal w/ canopy that gives me like 48.5" up top so im looking for a ballast that fits in there and this is looking like a winner!
 
Just got one of these today in the 36" length; very nice. Did not get from ebay, due to back order, but from aquatraders. If you don't need something right now, it's worth the wait on ebay for the price.

can you take some photos of the tank with the lights?
and how hot does the unit get?
 
I have bought power compact lights from this seller a few years ago. They sell low quality knock off products from China. A few days after I bought the light, the led moonlights stopped working and I went back for a new one. Seller said they had no more and attempted to fix the light but it didn't work. The price was right, but you get what you pay for.

I should say that the power compacts work ok to this day, but the led moonlights never have.
 
Hmmm tempted to get one for my 150g.
