i seen in that post ruby reds look awsome but is there any other decent red/orange ones i should consider for my 150g community set up got plenty of blues purples and yellow just need a little red a

this is the first time ive tried africans and im loving them ive got aros, barras and heaps off sa chiclids so my question is do they like overstocking its what ive been told if this is true how many should i get for the 150 probably just gonna get anther 240 gallon for them later but just wanna know how many to the stock the 150 for now

depending on what type of africans you have. a nice red one is the Hap "fire" victorian a male is pretty red.

here is one of mine it is the fish on the left top above the red empress

I have a german red male that has awesome color. No pics, he's in one of my fish room tanks that's loaded with algae. He's happy, but not a good tank for pics.
I keep tropheus in my community tanks and have no problems. Some will tell you that they have different diet requirements and can't be kept in a community tank, but I've been doing it for years and my trophs are big, healthy and look awesome while eating the same food my haps and fronts are eating. Lot's of red choices in Tropheus.
