hi im new to this site, how are you all? good i hope! i have just got a 333 gallon.
it has a cracked bottom and im thinking of repairing it with fibre glass and epoxy resin!!!!!!! thoughts and suggestions anyone? i plan to repair it and have a fab discus display tank, but im still going mad with the possibilities, there limitless!!!!

It all depends on how large/where the crack is.. for the most part, if a tank is cracked on any of the major surfaces (bottom, sides) I would toss it.

There is ways around everything though!

Depending on the crack and how stable the bottom is, you might be able to place a piece of replacement glass over the existing glass and reseal the tank without removing the broken glass. I have never tried this myself, but I dont see why it would not work. There is no way I would trash a 333 G tank with a broken piece of glass.
