So it's the one with a lot of red on body and face ? ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1342969205.646741.jpg
Another pic he seems to have quite a bit of red on body and fins but has a dark almost like a flowerhorn line through parts of body...
Any pics of what it will turn out like ?
And is there potential with this one to be a nice colourful one ?

Thanks

Not syn, that looks like a young fenstratus

If it has green spangling id say fenstrat, looks just, like my small female.

It has blueish sparkly(spanglings?) bits on its fins...
Mostly around the top fins

Is there any potential for this one to look nice ? Or is it just pretty standard looking ?
Thanks

Is say under the right conditions it will look great. My fen looks like yours but has green spangling on the body, hard to see with the darker stress colors up, ill try to get a pic when I go home in a bit for a comparison. At this size and color it fits the description of a few ca cichlids, my fem is 6.5".......

Below is an adult bifasciatum. A typical bifas characteristic, is the dark area just below and along the lateral line, and the dark splotch above the lateral line, below the dorsal.

He has the flower line, above it is a black patch and underneath and around the line is orangey.
The fins have blue/turquoise spanglings and also have orangey parts but apart from that the fine are red!
Edit: I don't think he looks like the pic above...
