Went to my LFS.. Was gonna buy some powerheads but spotted this low end Bp lol. Showed a lot of vieja blood. Even though I'm not a fan of Blood parrots, this female was a lot redder than most bp's. Woulda picked her up if she wasn't priced at $50. -___-

I like the long body, but not the face... and mine are so much redder (if by that you mean orange) than that one! :) and $50, I'm so in the wrong business...
 
Oh it is actually a lot redder than it appears in this picture. Cell phone camera sucks booty LOL.. And here in my area, any LFS that sells Bp's price theirs at $45+. Only place that sells them for a lot less is Petsmart(Go figure) lol.
 
Our petsmarts sells them for $24.99.. Just curious where did you see it? not sure if I mentioned it already or not, but I checked out Aquatech and River City Aquatics recently....
 
At one of Houston's many great LFS's..Thats why the Texas MFK meet should be held in Houston:thumbsup: lol. I just checked that out. Seems like they're good with African and Lake Tangkianika..(sp?) cichlids. I would never shop online for a BP lol.
 
seriously wat exactly was that..its not a blood parrot i m guessin..shape is a bit different.but the red is intense man.

lol I thought you were in Austin.. my bad.. but actually I was in Houston about 2 months ago and checked out 7 lfs.. just like me not to remember not even one name.. crap! I saw lots of pretty BP's out there.. even one that looked very Severum..
