Niger catfish alive in FL!

Ok questiopn for you guys.My friend found a niger catfish here in a local lake on the bank dead.Estimated to be 45 lbs.He called fwc and was told he was the second person ti find one in fl.Well i went fishing at a lakeabout 70 miles away from there in my buddys lake and i found 2 dead on the shore.And one barley alive.I scooped him up about 18 inches and put him in a pool with some fresh water.Question is should i report it?Is it a big find? Is it worth anything? Any and all help wuld be greeat thanx guys.

Ya were positive we did the research.My buddy has pics of the 40lber. Crazy looking fish has armor plating like you wouldnt believe. So what to do now?I have a live one and 2 dead ones lol
