Niger Catfish

i need all the info you can give me on this fish. iv had a hard time finding any exept for on Planet Catfish.
some specific stuff id like to know
- normal length
- price
-tank size
-can they be kept with other fish or are they realy mean?
- anything and everthing else

Are we talking about p. niger or giant armored catfish?

I've heard of someone somewhere saying they had one 42" although I think 36" is normal max size listed.

Price usually I can get 4"er's for about $40.00

Tank size: big. If not now then later.

They aren't mean from what I know. Gravel sifters that look for food on the bottom. I know there are some good sites with info. just have to find them.
