here are some quick pics i took today last two pics were taken with out flash and an iso of 800. havent fed this guy yet.. wil try tomorrow when i pick up some silver sides. any good way i can get this guy off of live food?

yeah i fed the other fish shrimp and he didnt take it.. while try silver sides tomorrow. what kind of pellets should i use?

have you tried tilapia yet? i have yet to see a bichir refuse tilapia, it's part of the natural diet for them.

I would recommend slicing the market shrimps in half then use a feeding tongs stick. Once he smelled the shrimp juice and see the shrimp in front of him he'll go nuts. Nice lap by the way. I avoid giving my bichirs feeders because that's like human on narcotics.
