Usually before I head to sleep for the evening I enjoy looking at my tank, but I have T5 lighting which is pretty damn bright. Which made me think is if there are any kind of night lights for tanks.

I am looking for something with color and which would run the length of the tank. I was thinking of just adding a colored bulb to a lighting socket and shining it on my tank, but I am looking for something wit a more evenly distributed .

So does anybody know where I can get a light strip the size of my tank that will be able to plus into a wall socket.

You could use LED moon lights. I have them on my 75g. They are a very dim LED light, they use very little power. You can still see what is going on in the tank, but its dark enough for your nocturnal fish to come out as well.

exactly, not quite the idea I had, Ive been looking for a led strip to put up. But that is a cheaper and looks awesome. Going to walmart after work!:headbang2

you can make your own pretty simple and they can be mounted in your existing light housing.
