Night time in dark basement....LED blue lights ??

Are the blue lights that are part of the popular LED lights of any benefit to use at night ?
I got recently got back into the hobby and have a 75 gallon glass tank setup in the basement. My prior tanks had the standard tube strip lights from All Glass and Oceanic.

I really only find them helpful to see your nocturnal fish feed/ active at night.Outside of that i actually only found it to make my fish panic for some reason?? that has been my experience with the blue lights anyway!
