nightcrawlers at baitshop vs. LFS

I've been trying to find some nightcrawlers but my LFS never seems to have any in stock, so then I remembered a few 7-11, K-Mart, etc. carrying nightcrawlers for bait in the fishing departments.

Are they the same thing? bait vs. LFS pet food? I'm thinking they're the same but just wanted to be safe and ask.

I get my nightcrawlers from the baitshop. Real fatties too! Aro and catfish love 'em.

I asked this on another forum and got some really good info. Apparently some suppliers use anti-mold chems in the soil packaged with the worms. I'm going to stay away from baitshop worms and stick the ones I know are for pets.
