nightcrawlers, earthworms in SO-CAL??

where do you get your nightcrawlers or earthworms? is there somewhere i can buy in larger amounts other then 12 per container or 20 per container (if i get at walmart) and also maybe cheaper?

If you call your local bait shop, you can probably buy a flat which is 500 worms, they may even sell 1/2 flats. Check into it.

Does anyone know of a worm bedding that is white? I have white 3M sand and when I feed earthworms the bedding leaves black dirt chunks all over my nice white sand. Yes, I do wash the worms. This is the stuff inside the worms after digestion by the stingrays.
