I think it will be ok, better if Zombie did it, but ill watch it.
 
I think they tried too hard to make his face look real.

I think it will be pretty terrible, but I was never a fan of the originals either for what its worth.
I just found out they're remaking Toxic Avenger though as a big budget, family friendly, save the environment pile of crap. *facepalm*
 
Remaking the Toxic Avenger?! God, stop with the remakes. I got suckered into Clash of the Titans, which was not 3D. Rollerball and The Day the Earth Stood Still are two of my favorite movies and two of the worst remakes ever. I just hope and pray they don't ruin Nightmare on Elm Street too. I mean, after the first one they were all crap anyways right?

I agree but his new voice sounds a little weak,nothing like the original.
 
seeing the previews, I think it got nothin on the original. Nightmare on Elm Street scared the crap outta me. Was a kid when it came out.

It's a good original classic character that Freddy.

I like who they picked to play Freddy, I mean, let's face it, if I saw this guy in the alley at night (or daytime for that matter) I'd be on my guard. If you didn't know he was an actor and seen him at the park with your kids, you wouldn't let your kids near him without keeping a close eye on him. He looks like a convicted child molester or something in real life.

That said, he's got the look, but not the voice,............. man, the voice so does not do Freddy justice. And they made this new Freddy look too much like a real burn patient compared to the original.

Dont' know if it'll be good, but I won't pay to see it, will catch it either on dvd or cable
 
So what's up with Hollywood? Can't they come up with any new or original ideas? Seems like all they do anymore is remake old movies.
