Anyone remember these? Were very hard to come by. Havent seen or heard anything about them in a while. Was going through old pictures of fish i had and came across one of my brokopondo. Nigromaculata and wc rio meta orino. Good ol days

What do they look like as adults?

So that is the final coloration? I was curious because it looks like the occel and orino still have a ways to go.

Nigromaculatas look like this full grown. Same pattern.
Also the 3 bass in that pic are 9-11"

I love the nigromaculatas stubby face. These fish don't grow big. I wish these bright bass were available more, I'd keep a few
