nile perch anybody??

love to see this in a home pond or really really really big aquarium ( that canadian guy??) can you imagine the fight this guy had inorder to reel it in ..

there is a smaller species i've heard tt grows to about a metre suitable for a 200++ gallon tank

I don't get them in because of their size, but I do get the identical looking barramundi (lates calcifer). The smaller species is L. microlepis (small-scale nile perch).

that depends on the time of year for my guy , usually summer is the hot time for fish of the sort ..
