Nile Perch. How much $??

I was wondering what the going rate was for nile perches. I saw one at a lfs and it was just around 2-3" for $80. This LFS usually has good prices but i thought $80 was a little steep. I didn't buy it cause for one I my royal knife would make a quick snack out of him and also he was super skittish. I bent over to look at him and he went darting around the tank bumping into the divders they had him in. Anyway what are the going rates for these guys? I love their patterns when young, red eyes and the way their fins look.

dont know the scientific name it was just labled nile perch. I guess it doesnt help without an actual picture but I googled it and this and this is what it looked like.

it was brown and white and had red eyes. dont know if that is desrciptive enough

here i found this on google too. looked pretty much like this but smaller. only i could of swore his eyes were red. maybe it was the lighting or something.

i guess it depends on your area. i forgot how much i paid for mine. but it was around 65 to 70 i think. i could be wrong tho. their on the rare side i would say.

i guess the price isnt that bad then. well since i'm not going to buy it i'll let everyone know where to find it. cause if i was gonna buy it i wouldnt say a damn thing haha. but for all you bay area cats i saw it at 6th ave aquarium (upstairs where the good ish is at) for those who dont know.
