At what size does a Nile Perch start to loose it's Marble pattern ?
I have one that's about close 10-11" and still has it's marble pattern.

Hey Joey, mine is 13" and still has his marble pattern. Mine goes between marble and solid copper depending on his mood. I think after 20" you should no longer see the marble pattern, but that is not 1st hand exp. just what I have seen from someone that has some larger pieces. How is the temper of your Nile? Mine is a real jerk, constantly beating on my barramundi and PBass that are just a couple of inches smaller than him. Wes would be a good person to ask if he still has his big guy.
Joey, nice pic. I like how your Goliath smiled for the camera. LOL. My nile is about 12-13" too and still has his patten, but it is fading. I would say like Torsp said probably around 15-20 ".
