Nile Perch?

I just got this little guy from my local fish guy and it was labeled as a Nile Perch is this correct? Little guy for now maybe 2 inches.

O.p post is the lates niloticus but oddballs yours looks like the rarer lates japonicus and most certain in ur first pic the updated pics of yours the pattern is washed out like you would expect.
