hi all would like some advice on nimbochromis fusctaeniatus i ave a chance of gettin a 4inch male but would b goin in with a rubin red ,hansbaenschi ,baenschi and 3 orange blotch aulonocars all males which range from 2-4inch in seize plus a pair of sciaenochromis fryei both males(but i belive 2 b a variant of lithobate) and a male and female astatotilapia aeneocolor (i now vics should not be in but stunnin fish and could not resist) do u think it would mix well or b 2 aggresive ? my tank holds 400lt (uk) with 2 external filters with a combined total turnover of 1600lt ph any help would b nice as i ave never kept this type of large predatory fish.

I think it could work out, I have a large nimbochromis livingstonii which is closely related to a nimbochromis fuscotaeniatus in with my peacocks. It depends how big your tank is though, your tank should be at least 18" wide

I think it should work. I'm mixing Predator haps now with my Peacocks, making sure there mouths are smaller. I actually have some really small Buccochromis and last night I was trying to pull a red empress female out and couldnt catch her. She spit some of her fry out and the 1 inch bucco swam up and gulped 1 or 2 down fry down. Fry won't survive in your tank haha. I'm sure you already know that.
