A201 are you sure that venustus is a male?

Great species to keep, these livingstoni blossomed quickly.

Just curious. Does your Livingstoni have similar color patterns on both sides? Mine doesn’t match at all. The other side of the fish pictured above resembles the pattern on your fish. It looks odd but I didn’t know if that was common.

Pretty sure the Venustus is male RD. Here's another pic of him when he is acting dominant.

Don't the males generally develop the blue face?

Looks female to me. Females can also get quite yellow, and show a bit of blue in face/head region, but male anal fins are longer, more pointy.
