Nipped FIN!!

one of my sens bichir is swimming in a funny way, when i took a closer look i noticed that one of his fins below the head was nipped!! the only part remaining was the bone outline or something. will it grow back? and what can i do to help it grow back? my sen is still young only 3 inches, its housed with another 3 inch bichir and a 3inch BGK. can anybody give me some advice? i would really appreciate it

It should grow back.to help it keep the water as clean as possible.You could isolate it
in another tank while it grows back and to monitor for any sign of infection-Anne

i'm going through the same thing right now... looked pretty bad but now i can just barely see the fins starting to come out.

Depends if the damage done was just to the rays or if parts of the supporting bone structure were damaged.
