So what do you guys think about these cars? Around the early 90s models. I see them in what looks to be good shape for prety cheap and think they would be a fun little fast car to play with.

I love those cars. I worked at a nissan dealership all through high school. The NA ones are nothing special and the Turbo ones arent very reliable and wont be cheap to fix but are very fun to drive. I dont really like the looks of the 2+2 but a pearl white 2 seater turbo is a car that i have always wanted.

Totally BA!

I agree, The twin turbo two seaters are awesome machines. But mechanics wise its a PAIN to work on. The engine bay is tight and tough to work around. Cheap alternative to quick speed, plus quality aftermarket parts for turbo cars are expensive. I too have worked a few in my days but never got the chance to own one.

ive heard the turbo models can be quite problematic, but this is just what ive heard from friends

I used to have a '91 w/ a 5 speed. What a rocket and a blast to drive! Black on black with black tinted windows too! Oh how I miss that car! I paid $20K for it in '95 and sold it after 6 months for $25K. Couldn't pass up that deal or I would have kept it! When the speed limiter kills the engine at 150 MPH for the 1st time it will scare the **** out of you! It had excellent handling too as it came with 4 wheel steering! I did Orange County to Orroyo Grande (225 miles) in 2 hours flat!

Oh, the memories!!!

from everything I find on them its the high cost for parts and service thats the turn off, would it just be more fun or affordable to look into the older 280z and such, or do they cost a grip to upkeep too? I want this to be fun,not breaking.
