What are you treating for? Did you get full details of the ingredients? Interpet is notorious for the lack thereof.

On the other hand, there is no need to buy one if your water changes can solve this issue.
 
I tried algone which did not remove any measurable nitrates it did remove a great deal of phosphates or algae and swelled up with algae (or water not too sure it happened progressively). My advice having tried algone and nitraban and everything (But a denitrifier) to lower my nitrates that are 20-40 from the tap is just do water changes a reading of 40 aint that bad. I would like a link to this product as it has piqued my interest lol (My lazy side talking) Im working on my RO this weekend so hopefully it won't be a huge issue.
