Hi all,

Please advice and share view for this subject,

Nitrate 0-10ppm means do not need to WC?

Thanks. :)

You will always need to do a water change even if you can maintain zero everything. Reason is that as water eveaporates, the overall PPM increases because of the minerls left behind. I suppose topping off with straight RO water would help with that issue, but there are still other things besides the nitrogen cycle to keep in check.

Even if nitrates are 0, it's still a good idea to do water changes to maintain your tank's buffering capacity (KH) as it gets used up over time. You need fresh water to replenish certain minerals.

as others have said, even if its just a 20-25% every couple weeks gotta get that new water in there at some point

4 out of 4 suggested still need to change water.
That's mean 100% still need to change water.
Thanks.

Still need to change water? Yes
Every week to two weeks? More often is better but you could probably go with a monthly water change of 50% verses bi-weekly of 25% as long as the levels stay the same. I wouldn't be comfortable going more then a month ever tho.

Any bros care to share their set up that does not need WC or just need to top up water every week?
