Im going on the 10th day of a nitrite spike, ammo is near or at 0 on every test. Trites and trates havnt seemed to change at all. I did daily water changes for the first 5 or so days of the spike with no change then no water changes for 4 days. 125 gal tank with emperor 400, penguin 350 and bubble curtain across 2/3 of back of tank, temp 79. 5 fish that are very active and eating well, no signs of trouble breathing. Is this a normal time span?
