NJAS is preparing for the 2016 Spring Auction on April 3rd at the Day’s Hotel in East Brunswick, NJ. One question I always get about the auction is “Will there be any (fill in the name of your favorite fish) at the auction?” There is no way I can predict what’s actually going to show up the day of the auction. After giving it some thought I came up with this; a “Wish to Buy List". The way it will work is you guys post what you’re looking for and NJAS will publish the list to everyone we know and hopefully someone who is breeding the species or has the species and is looking to clean out their tanks will put them up for auction. I think seeing a fish I have on a “Wish to Buy List" is a real good incentive to get me to put them in the auction. The “Wish to Buy List" will also help us when we’re asking for donations for the auction. Usually we just leave it up to the donor but if we know what people are looking for we can ask for specific fish. The way I look at it is: it doesn’t cost any money, can’t hurt anything and may just work!

I'm looking to get Green Laser Cory's CW009. Put them in the auction, I'll bid on them!

This is a really Good idea!!! If there is alot of interest for a fish I have, i would be more inclined to bring them to auction!
