NLS 3mm Large fish formula OR 1mm Cichlid formula?

My tank is an all African tank mostly peacocks. All my fish are between 1 and a half to 3 inches. I have both NLS 3mm Large fish formula And 1mm Cichlid formula? Which should I feed, 3mm large fish formula or the 1mm Cichlid formula?

The 3mm pellets are far too large & hard for peacocks, even adult peacocks, and they will end up chewing & wasting a lot of the food, IF they will even eat it.

For reference, I have raised haps all the way up to 9" on 1mm NLS pellets, and only switched to the 2mm NLS pellets when they came out on the market a few yrs back.

Thanks RD thanks Pharaoh. I started them on 1mm and I've been feeding them the 3mm. But I stop that ASAP...lol....thanks again

They really seem to like the smaller pellets. Mine dig in the substr. after feeding and stir it up, which helps to keep the waste off the bottom. Win win.

I agree with the other posters. Stick with the 1MM and you will have must less waste.
