NLS for flowerhorn help

hey guys,

Just wanted to switch over my staple of Hikari massivore to NLS for my flowerhorns. Is this a good move? Also, can anyone suggest which NLS to use?

NLS is a good food to switch to.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I've been exclusively using Hikari only, so I'm kinda new to NLS. Is there a certain kind that would do the best? Or do they just have 1 type for cichlids?

The best move. Does he eat from the surface?

If he gulps massivore go straight to Nls 7.5 mm floating. Stick to it. It may take a coiple of days for him to get used, but insist.

First how big is he? Under 10" I would say 3mm over 10" 4.5 or possibly 6mm. You want him to be able to swallow it whole.

my female takes it like a pig. but my male wont touch it and they're swimming together. should i divide them and try to get him on it? or leave them alone?

I fed my flowerhorns 6mm Thera A pellets. They were at least 10".
