NLS inner food paper seal disconnceted, but plastic lid still tightly closed

NLS has an outer plastic lid which you open, then inside there's a paper seal that your supposed to rip off.

The plastic lid was tightly closed. When I opened it, the paper seal came off with the plastic lid.

Is it still safe?

I got it from Amazon.com but don't know if it's worth it to drive to the post office and return it. It's a 190g container.

Some of the ones that have been on the shelf a little longer do that. Should be fine.

Upon and after noticing the unsecured paper seal I would probably still use it.

Yeah im with everyone else. If it were an lfs maybe id return it (probably not). Should be fine to use i wouldnt want to deal with the p.o either

I feed primarily NLS and Ive had this happen a few times. As you unscrew the lid for the first time it takes the seal off with it.
