The other thread got me to browsing NLS and NF foods at a retailer I order from regularly.

I saw NLS has a new insect based formula. It seems their version of NF's Bug Pro, which was released after Fluval Bug Bites. Northfin's version is far superior to Fluvals bug bites and this NLS stuff looks better that Fluval as well. I'm trying to find the ingredient list and nutrition breakdown.

I haven’t seen this formula at stores in my area but if I do I’ll give it a try. I offer live insects as snacks to my predators so this food is worth a try imo.

Ive been waiting for this to show up in more online sites like kensfish.com, and lo and behold, there it is. Man, I wish there was a larger pellet size than large. Well, it will be part of my pellet mix now (algaemax + regular NLS).

I've been feeding the NorthFin BugPro and the fish gobble it up.

1-1.5mm , 2-2.5mm and 3-3.5mm sizes

Don't mean to necro an old thread but this stuff seems very palatable to all of my fish...even my extremely shy L091 Pleco and Rhinodoras come out in the day time when I feed this pellet. I like that it at least comes in a decent size pellet. Northfin needs to follow suit and make a bigger pellet for Bug Pro imho.

I finally got some myself last week in the 1mm size..the rainbow fish love it.
