NLS New life spectrum for rays

I tried feeding this brand food to my black rays with little success. They would eat them, but would get horific gut and poop problems. Anybody else tried? What are your experience with it.

They love the taste, I hate the water changes.

only feed hikari..... i think kyle is feeding or was feeding some nls pellets...

what kind of hikari pellets? ray specific ? or just the carnivore ones ?

i feed massivore,carnivor,sinking cichlid gold. ive had rays eat food sticks and bio gold off the top of the tank.... had a few eat algea wafers...

i think im going to try some small pellets that i'll soak in bloodworms for a while and see what happens

try offering a few with out soaking them first..never know

Nobody feeds NLS to black rays?

I've been trying dainichi xl on mine.. I think rays just prefer softer pellets like sinking carnivore but they need to be trained. At first they will continue to spit them out mut will go back and finish them. Try dainichi pellets. The Montmorillonite Clay in dainichi has been known to bulk up koi and provide lots of color and vitamins/minerals. Plus its cheaper than NLS and its also coated again after processing to ensure that nutrients are in the pellets
