So I am looking to try and get my 9in aimara wolf fish onto pellets. I was thinking of trying Hikari massivore, but remembering how much it stinks and some other commentary around quality, I was thinking of giving NLS a chance.

I was looking at the NLS mega formula that I tried with my rhom several years back, but it seems like this is no longer available. Curious what pellets folks would recommend in this case? I saw they have a sinking Thera A 6mm pellet so was curious of folks thoughts on that.

Never consistently used a pellet and would like to try. My aimara loves silversides and takes tilapia, both soaked in vitachem. He has rejected shrimp multiple times. I tried some hikari floating sticks but he just ignored them.

Any feedback is welcome.

While I love NLS, it's not the best "first pellet" to get fish onto. Hikari pellets are soft and smelly, so it works much better for training. My aimara ate massivore and sinking carnivore after a couple days of no food.

NLS is good pellets but it's not easy to get fish into it like Hikari, but when the fish set their mind into NLS then you can see the improvement over Hikari product.

I am going to try some freeze dried krill that floats and has worked for some folks, then I will introduce hikari carni sticks that I have. Once on that, I can then try some sinking pellets. It will just be trial and error. Thanks for the suggestions.

I feed nls megafish to my polys and they love it.
Amazon and a few other sellers offer it.
